The De Agguire-Etcheberry have been farming in Chile’s Maule Valley for 70 years and after establishing their winery in 2000 have been winning numerous international awards and accolades, including the on-trade sommelier wine awards (SWA) 2019. ‘Alma De Chile’, meaning ‘Soul of Chile, is testament to the families passion, which is perfectly captured in the selection of wines, showing tremendous varietal character and finesse.

Alma de Chile Merlot Reserva x1 – Rich and fruity wine with plum, red berry and light spice notes. Oak ageing for up to 6 months adds a polished character and soft tannins.
Alma de Chile Carmenere Reserva x1 – A Carmenere of character with rich plum, cassis and prune fruit, supported by quality oak in the background.
Alma de Chile Syrah Rose Reserva x1 – Rich cherry pink in colour, this is a serious rose with good structure and mouthfeel bursting with ripe strawberry flavours. Some residual CO2 gives the aromatics a lift and a fresh finish.
Alma de Chile Sauvignon Blanc Reserva x1 – Refined but powerful wine with good balance between grass and nettle flavours, ripe melon and clean mineral finish. Extended lees contact adds complexity and mouthfeel.
Alma de Chile Chardonnay Reserva x1 – Elegant and complex Chardonnay with round peachy fruit, notes of honey and butterscotch and a soft creamy finish, medium toast French oak adds a touch of class.
Alma de Chile Pinot Noir Reserva x1 – Bright cherry fruit on the nose with hints of tea leaf and eucalyptus. Light and spicy (white pepper and nutmeg) in the mouth with clean strawberry fruit flavours.
