The makers story

After three of perfecting his recipe, Colonel Jim Porter released NEWCASTLE BROWN ALE in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1927.Shortly thereafter, it became firmly known as the favoured beer of North East England and its iconic status continued to spread throughout the UK.
