A place whose kaleidoscope of colours is an enigma; dynamic, original, and the inspiration for Empress 1908 Indigo Gin.

The famous Fairmont Empress Hotel, first opened its doors to the public in 1908 gained huge amount of attention at the time for its wonderful main attraction of the Empress’s house tea, an exotic proprietary blend, which is now engraved into the heritage of Victoria, British Columbia.

The Empress Hotel’s house tea has remained a secret for over 100 years utilising different imported tea leaves to create an infusion that people from all corners of the world still visit the Empress Hotel for till this day.

Victoria Distillers, have used this piece of heritage to create a truly wonderful gin. Empress 1908 Indigo Gin marries crystalline Canadian waters with eight organic botanicals: juniper, rose, coriander seed, grapefruit peel, ginger root, cinnamon bark and the Fairmont Empress tea blend. Its trademark hue imbued by the infusion of butterfly pea blossoms. ‘True to its origin’ botanical sourcing and Fair Trade grains enhance Empress 1908 with a sustaining purity.
